Juan José Francione


After graduating, in 2013, in Guitar and Chamber Music, from the Conservatorio Superior de Música de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires “Astor Piazzolla,” he decided to continue his specialization in Lute and Figured Bass in Italy and later at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (Zurich, Switzerland) under the guidance of Mtro. Eduardo Egüez.
He develops an intense concert activity as a soloist and with Ensemble La Chimera, performing in numerous halls and festivals of early and modern music in Europe.
He collaborates as a continuist with Collegium 1704 (Václav Luks), La Terza Prattica (Massimiliano Toni), Talenti Vulcanici (Stefano Demicheli), Ensemble Mare Nostrum (Andrea De Carlo) and others.

Since 2020 he is developing an emerging activity doing musical arrangements for his own projects and for different groups of the early and world music European music scene. In 2019 he founded Cordis Consort together with harpist Carlotta Pupulin, a variable geometry ensemble focused in the world of plucked instruments.
