Romana Kružíková
She comes from Znojmo. She is a graduate of the Brno Conservatory of Music (Vocal Department) and the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno (Vocal Department) (Natalia Romanová – Achaladze). She has won several singing competitions, such as the Bohuslav Martinů Song Competition, the Olomouc Singing Competition, and the Antonín Dvořák International Singing Competition in Karlovy Vary. She has also participated in many workshops and performance courses with Gabriela Beňačková, Mikhail Lanskoi, Kateřina Beranová and Kateřina Kněžíková. Since 2008, she has been a permanent member of the Czech Ensemble Baroque, which focuses on stylistic interpretation of early music. She is a concert performer and her artistic activity includes cooperation with Musica Bohemica, Brno Contemporary Orchestra, Czech Virtuosi, Musica Aeterna, L’Armonia Terrena, Collegium Marianum, Collegium 1704, Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra Olomouc, and Brno Philharmonic. In the 2018/2019 season she was a guest at the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava. As a soloist, she has participated in the recording of several CDs (Musica Aeterna, Czech Ensemle Baroque, etc.). She regularly performs at domestic music festivals such as Hudba Znojmo, Olomouc Baroque Festival, Smetana Litomyšl, Janáček Brno, Easter Festival of Sacred Music and others. This summer he will be a lecturer for the second time at the Summer School of Baroque Music in Holešov.
